If you could not sacrifice a 200k rune place for your clan one time you were not worthy of being at the clan.Clans would also implement mages to RuneScape gold help kill their competitors, sporting a team and magician top, with armor on the rest of the body to reflect several hits when they have piled. Mostly mages are hybrid with trap runes to stop people from running so much and wasting another clans time.
Ranging in an f2p war was utterly pointless. There are some who would stand by a few rangers but it’s certainly not a strategy I’d implement. The Runescape community would attend the war on lvl 3 accounts to see the victory and to sometimes record and or report on the war for those forums.
There would also be small groups of lvl 50s who were basically other clans that heard about the war group with each other to pick up all of the leftover rune. I would do the same it was really enjoyable. Hilarious tbh.
P2p Wars were good but always modest in amount, in fact nobody battled p2p wars that they had been a rarity, and also hella pricey. An f2p war would set you back 200k at all where as p2p wars will be twice that at a minimum. P2p was chiefly for pk excursions and hanging out around mage bank for 1v1. Mage bank pking was where you’d find the very best of the best, who would pk in ahrims and party hats. Usually with 40 additional 126s prepared to snare your dumb arse for believing that a guy goes pking solo at a party hat.
There were also mini wars, these could be planned but sometimes they’d be spontaneous. As soon as you realise it was an opposing clan you’ve struck, when you died you would gear up and return to how to buy 1mil runescape the fight immediately as a matter of pride. The war goes on till onbe sides members determined they’d lost enough, and the Victor would have a LOT of spoils.
